The first third of the MCI Season 4 tour wrapped up this week in San Antonio. Eleven performance groups presented their programs under the lights of the Alamodome to cement their mark on Season 4.

World Class

​

Blue Brigades (1st - 96.985) took their first gold medal of the season. They took top marks in Winds, Percussion, and Colorguard but were prevented from the first World Class caption sweep of the season by Bluecrowns. Bluecrowns held a lead of 0.244 in General Effect over Blue Brigades.

Bluecrowns (2nd - 96.810) brought in their second silver medal and second General Effect win in their second performance of the season. They placed 2nd in Winds, Percussion, and Colorguard.

Bored Knights (3rd - 96.024) grew by a full point from their last performance in Northern California. They placed 3rd all captions. Bored Knights placed 1st in the Cleanliness and Winds Integration sub-captions.

​

Spirit (4th - 92.445) saw a fluctuation in their score, dropping by around 4 points. They placed 4th in all captions.

​

Ocean View Regiment (5th - 82.771) has been the only group to perform at every show of the season. They've seen an overall growth of almost 2 points from MCI Cascades. They placed 5th in all captions.

Open Class

​

Bluecrowns 2 (1st - 95.229) returned to Open Class performance with a strong 1st place finish in all captions, the fifth Open Class caption sweep by any group in six shows.

Palm Gulch HS (2nd - 94.543) brought in their second silver medal of the season. They placed 2nd in General Effect, Winds, and Percussion and 3rd in Colorguard.

​

The Raiders (3rd - 94.139) placed 2rd in all captions except for a 4th place finish in Colorguard.

​

Kimkyjoon Korps (4th - 93.864), a surprising newcomer to MCI, placed as high as 2nd in Colorguard. They placed 4th in all other captions.

​

Sterry HS (5th - 91.819) premiered a new show this week in San Antonio, entitled "Aqua". They placed 5th in all captions.

​

Orchid HS (6th - 86.244) placed 6th in all captions.
