Despite being one of the smaller events of the season, part 2 of the MCI Season 4 Tour kicked off at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, CO.
World Class
Blue Phantoms (1st - 97.379) brought in their fourth gold medal of the season this week in Denver. They took top marks in all captions and sub-captions except Winds and Colorguard Substance.
Bluecrowns (2nd - 96.490) continued a 3-show streak of silver medal finishes stretching back to Arizona. They took 2nd in all captions.
Open Class
Bluecrowns 2 (1st - 95.059) brought their second gold medal in Open Class this season. They finished 1st in General Effect, Winds, and Colorguard and 2nd in Percussion. They were prevented from a full caption sweep by the Glassmen's strong Percussion finish in Denver.
Sterry HS (2nd - 91.228) had their highest finish thus far in the competition this year this week in Denver. Sterry took 2nd in Colorguard and 3rd in General Effect, Winds, and Percussion, holding about 2 points above 3rd/4th place in each caption respectively.
Marrowbridge HS (3rd - 84.222) brought in their first medal in MCI competition. They held 4th in all captions except a 3rd place finish in Colorguard.
The Glassmen (4th - 76.446) had strong 2nd place finishes in General Effect, Winds, and Percussion. They were unfortunately locked out of 20 points due to not having a colorguard, leading them to a 4th place overall.
