MCI Cascades
Nine performance ensembles continued south from last weeks MCI Premiere in Seattle, WA to Eugene, OR for the first MCI Cascades.
World Class
Red Line Regiment (1st - 95.705) dropped just 0.006 points from last week's Premiere despite rising to the top of the competition field in Eugene. Red Line took top marks in General Effect and Percussion with their new program "Defining the Art".
Blue Phantoms (2nd - 95.632) increased their score by 2.206 from last week's show in Seattle. They continued their hold on the Winds caption, taking top marks. They additionally took top marks in Colorguard. They finished 2nd in General Effect and Percussion.
Ocean View Regiment (3rd - 80.937) took 3rd place in all captions and sub-captions.
Open Class
The Glassmen (1st - 93.735) took top marks in 3 of the 4 captions at their first MCI appearance, General Effect, Winds, and Percussion. They took 2nd in Colorguard. They also took 1st in both Winds and Percussion sub-captions.
MML DBC (2nd - 86.395) took 1st place in the Colorguard caption in Eugene. They also took 2nd in General Effect while taking a 4th place finish in Winds and a 5th place finish in Percussion.
The Raiders (3rd - 85.726) continued to stay as a medalist in Open Class this week in Eugene. They held their highest marks in Winds and Percussion, finishing 2nd as well as finishing 34rd in General Effect and Colorguard.
Palaski (4th - 85.275) grew by almost 0.05 from Seattle with their program "The Escape". Palaski took their highest finish in Winds, placing 3rd. They took 4th in the other 3 captions.
Orchid High School (5th - 84.856) grew on their score by over a point from Seattle. Their highest finish was in Percussion, placing 3rd. Orchid placed 5th in all other captions.
Trombones Who March (6th - 47.183) also grew their score in Eugene, by 0.22. They placed 6th in all captions.
