World Class

The Bored Knights (1st - 97.230), Season 1 and 2 perennial finalist, captured the first place position for the first time since the second season's Invitational III. They leant their first place slot to wins in General Effect, Winds, and Percussion as well as a 2nd place finish in the Colorguard caption. In the sub-captions, the Bored Knights found 1st place finished in 7 of the 10 sub-captions.

Red Line Regiment (2nd - 95.176), defending champion from Season 2, placed almost 20 points higher than they did at Premier during Season 2. They placed as high as 2nd in General Effect and Winds, 3rd in Colorguard, and 4th in Percussion.

The Orange Knights (3rd - 93.553) a newcomer to the MCI circuit owed their Top-3 finish to a 2nd place score in Percussion and a 3rd place score in General Effect. They also placed 4th in Winds and 5th in Colorguard.

​

Category 4 (4th - 92.791) placed as high as 1st in Colorguard, due to 1st place wins in the Design and Colorguard Integration sub-captions and 2nd in the Colorguard Substance sub-caption earning them the Best Colorguard trophy. They also finished 5th in Winds and Percussion and 7th in General Effect.

The Marching Dragons (5th - 92.522) moved up to World Class after performing in Open Class for the Season 2 Premier improving almost 4 points on their score from the previous season. They finished as high as 3rd in Winds and Percussion, 4th in General Effect, and 7th in Colorguard.

​

The Tigers (6th - 89.883) placed 5th in General Effect, 6th in Winds, 8th in Colorguard, and 9th in Percussion in their first MCI appearance.

​

The Silent Sound (7th - 89.261) finished as high as 4th in Colorguard. They placed 7th in Winds, 9th in General Effect, and 11th in Percussion additionally placing as high as 2nd in the Colorguard Integration sub-caption.

​

Palm Gulch High School (8th - 89.107) placing only 0.085 behind The Silent Sound, the Season 2 Open Class Silver Medalist saw strong finishes in all captions placing 9th in Colorguard and 8th in General Effect, Winds, and Percussion.

​

The Black Coats (9th - 89.022) finished as high as 6th in General Effect and Percussion. Their strong finish in General Effect is partially due to holding a 0.005 lead over the Bored Knights in the Theme sub-caption.

The Purple Lightning (10th - 86.468) may sound new to the MCI circuit but they're actually the reincarnation of founding MCI corps, the Red Knights. They finished well over the mark in Colorguard and Percussion, placing 6th and 7th respectively. 

​

The Marching Pioneers (11th - 83.365) another MCI newcomer ended in 10th in Winds and Percussion and 11th in General Effect and Colorguard

Open Class

​

Blue Brigades (1st - 87.548) took 1st place in all Open Class captions and 1st in 8 out of 10 sub-captions resulting in an almost 9 point lead over second place in their first ever MCI appearance.

​

Ocean Blvd (2nd - 78.649) took 2nd in all captions and a 1st place finish in the Colorguard Substance sub-caption.

​

Hidden (3rd - 57.056) placed 3rd in all captions and sub-captions except for a 1st place finish in Colorguard Design sub-caption.

​

Shadow Band (4th - 42.083) ended 4th in all captions.

​

The Marching Trojans (5th - 33.943) improved their score by 6.283 points from their last appearance at Season 2 Open Class Prelims. They ended 5th in all captions.

​

The Pride of the Old Dominion (6th - 23.075) placed 6th in all captions.
